Demi Grace is a singer, songwriter and model. Demi is dedicated to unifying the nations of her generation and empowering young women through her music and representation. She conquers barriers of racial expectations in her music and performance by including high energy female dancers and an overall racially diverse band. Influenced by living legends Janet Jackson, Grace Jones, and Missy Elliot, Demi Grace’s music presents a pop overtone while often including undertones of West African music or afro-pop. She has opened for and hosted events with some of the hottest Afro-beats artists, including Davido and Banky W. The singer has performed at world renown venues including the House of Blues in LA and Webster Hall in New York.

Demi attended Deer Valley High School in the East Bay of San Francisco Bay Area. However, the East Bay was not her original home. While growing up in South London around sisters who immersed themselves in the arts, Demi Grace developed a deep desire to be the best musician and entertainer she could be. After moving to the US at age six, her dream became reachable. During her high school career, she became heavily involved in school music programs, joined and taught choir and performed weekly in a local fish shop City.

While attending California State University Northridge, Demi Grace started to record music under the provision of Disney Music executive, Alyssa Talovic. In 2016, Demi Grace performed with Beyonce at the MTV Video Music Awards and has worked alongside international recording artists such as Taio Cruz, Flo-Rida, Akon and Amber Rose. Demi Grace has featured in advertisements for notable brands in various markets from Chevrolet to Sephora. She most recently filmed a commercial alongside Jillian Hervey of Lion Babe for Pantene Pro-V (set to air in 2017). Grace also sang the jingle for Dark & Lovely’s Fade Resist commercial which is now airing worldwide. Demi Grace has had her records placed in TV and Film as well. In 2016 “We Are Not Alone featuring Kimmy,” a single from her Forward Movement Only album, was placed in MTV’s The Real World Television Series. “Want You”, also a single from the same album placed in the 2015 drama Phantom Halo which starred X-Men actress Rebecca Romijn.

Apart from being featured in respected publications as a musician, Demi has also made appearances as a model in magazines in the US and internationally. Grace was featured the cover of two magazines in 2014, including Rolling Out Magazine which previously featured superstars such as Taraji P. Henson, Future and Zendaya on their covers. Internationally, Demi Grace has been featured in Germany’s Trend Prive Magazine and Nigeria’s Zen Magazine. Grace has been a strong believer in hard work, faith and education and has been able to achieve thus far independently, without major label backing or management.

Demi Grace ultimately aspires to promote positivity, confidence and diversity throughout her career in the entertainment industry. With a music video release around the corner and new music on the way, Demi Grace is sure to continue to break barriers and throw caution to the wind.
